Guide to Neighborhood Organizations
• Falconbridge Homeowners Association (FHA) (Townhome owners only)
Falconbridge has a mix of townhomes and single-family homes. The developer created a mandatory Falconbridge Homeowner’s Association (FHA) for townhomes with a monthly dues assessment to maintain the common townhome property. Click here to learn more about the FHA.
• Falconbridge Community Association (FCA) (Single-family homeowners only)
The developer did not provide a similar organization for single-family homes, when the neighborhood was built. In 1986, the single-family homeowners chose to incorporate their own voluntary HOA – the Falconbridge Community Association (FCA) to represent the common interests of single-family homeowners. Click here to learn more about the FCA.
• Recreational Facilities Committee (RFC) (Manages common property)
The Falconbridge Homeowner’s Association, through its Recreation Facilities Committee (RFC) manages all the common property (pool, Clubhouse, pond, pickleball courts, etc.) in Falconbridge, because it is all owned by the FHA. Click here to find out why.
• Falconbridge Alliance
The Falconbridge Alliance was formed in 2013 to serve as a bridge (hence the name of our monthly newsletter) across all of Falconbridge, single-family homes and townhomes alike. We welcome all owners and tenants to join. Alliance volunteers organize and operate many of the activities and groups (such as the Traveling Pubs, potlucks, mah jongg group, book clubs, art walks, exercise groups, etc.) that add to our enjoyment of the neighborhood. Click here to learn more and here to join.
• FRIENDS (Falconbridge Village Association or FVA)
The FVA, or FRIENDS, was formed by residents in 2011 to help neighbors who need temporary or longer-term practical or emotional support so they can remain in their home after surgery or during illness. It is part of the neighborhood “aging in place” effort and also includes a medical equipment lending closet. Click here to learn more about FRIENDS or to volunteer.
